I did my first Slackware install from floppy disk in 1994 and now I am
back after a long break. I hope this newsgroup is as helpful as ever ;-)

Welcome back, the group is active, but not as active
as it was in the mid 90s.

Welcome back. My own first install of Slackware (upgrading from SLS)
was circa. the same timeframe, and also via the floppy shuffle. Been
running Slackware since.

I cannot claim to be so faithful :-) I was running Debian until I got
enticed by swaywm. As swaywm is under rapid development just now I
needed a less slow moving and buttoned down distro to play around with it.

Welcome back, In '94 I was installing all kinds of operating systems
including slackware, yes we where using floppy disk then, I still have
the disks. I came back to slackware when systemd slapped me in the face
and now I run 14.2, 15.0 and current on 10 different computers, just to
keep me busy. I also run my own kde plasma system, with systemd not
installed on it at all, I call it Alien Linux.
