The changelog from later on April 12th says Slackware's gone to Beta.

It's been a long time coming. No fun and games, and I won't be buying a new refurbished computer this time, but maybe I'll splurge on an SSD.

In the first week of June it will be 20 years since I went to Linux/Slackware.
